About Nova Smiles

Empowering You With Honest, Expert Dental Advice

Nova Smiles was founded in 2020 by Dr Zaeem Jafri, a practising dentist based in London with a background in technology and start-ups. After years of seeing patients who’d been going to the dentist regularly yet still felt confused or underinformed about their oral health, he knew something had to change.

Why Nova Smiles Exists

Many people feel unsure when it comes to dental care. The advice you receive often depends on the dentist you see, and not everyone has the time or budget to get second opinions. Googling symptoms and treatments can leave you overwhelmed or misled.

Nova Smiles was created to fix this.

We’re here to help you feel informed, empowered and confident about your dental health — whether you're preparing for a visit to your dentist, exploring treatment options, or trying to understand what’s going on in your mouth.

What We Offer

  • Expert content: We publish clear, science-backed blog posts, videos and product reviews that explain dental conditions, treatments, and innovations in plain English.

  • Professional insights: Our information is written by dentists and based on real-world experience — not clickbait or AI summaries.

  • 1-to-1 advice: Got a question? You can speak directly with a qualified dental professional for quick, tailored support.

We aim to be a trusted companion in your dental journey, helping you ask the right questions and make informed decisions — whether it’s about whitening, veneers, gum health, or choosing a toothbrush.

Independent and Transparent

Nova Smiles is run by dentists, not a clinic or corporate sponsor. We do monetise the website through carefully selected affiliate links and partnerships with dental clinics, but we’ll always be upfront about that. We only recommend products or professionals we’d genuinely use ourselves.

Our Mission

To use technology and expertise to deliver modern, accessible, and trustworthy dental advice — fast. No waiting rooms. No jargon. No hidden agendas.

We believe good dental health starts with knowledge. If more people understood their options, we’d all be making better choices — and smiling more confidently.
